As part of CALA’s public education program, we host 90 minute lunchtime Community Forums to help employers avoid potential lawsuits. In today’s litigious business climate, business owners and employers are finding it increasingly difficult to avoid employment related lawsuits. It’s a struggle to keep abreast of the constant changes in state and federal developments, court decisions, laws and regulations. Ignorance and non-compliance of current laws can open up the lawsuit floodgates. It is critical that employers know the most current safeguards they can use to protect themselves and their business.
Below is a calendar of upcoming CALA Community Forums:
Thank you to Carole Ross, Senior Attorney, from Sheppard Mullin Richter Hampton, LLP for her timely and informative presentations on employment litigation issues.
Thank you to Brett Almquist, President of Dos Gringos, Inc. and On the Border Mexican Grill and Cantina for their generous donation of lunch for the March 12th Forum.
